Curtin University is globally recognised for its strong connections with industry, high-impact research and a wide range of innovative courses.
In recent years, the University has established itself among the top one per cent of universities in the world (ARWU 2024).
After years of collaboration with the academicians of the university for organising conferences, developing international educational and research projects, by mutual decision it was announced that Curtin University is going to host ICPATME 2025.

In view of the rapid development of ICT and particularly AI technologies, we would like to invite academicians, researchers and practitioners to share their experiences, findings, approaches and visions on the issues related to the conference topic.
Practical studies, analysis of the cases, evaluations of different applications and their value for the educational purposes are welcome for presenting and discussing.
Apart from technological and educational issues, we would like to invite psychological and sociological studies related to the use and application of technologies in education and other areas of human life.
Psychological characteristics, peculiarities of ages, emotional stages, cultural and educational backgrounds are in the focus as well to discuss the impact of technologies and their possible improvements for the actual needs of human beings in different spheres of life.

Prof. Dr. Iryna Sekret, PhD in Educational Psychology and Foreign Language Education, Professor in Education Studies, is Chair of the Board in STARTINFORUM International Project Management and Business Consultancy Company (Turkey), Committee Chair of IATELS, Director of English IATELS International English Academy. During her professional life she has been teaching and conducting research within foreign languages, translation and language studies, educational and organisational psychology, ICT in education and online learning in different universities of Ukraine and Turkey. She has a wide organisational and administrative experience, gained while heading the university departments and other administrative units, coordinating international educational and research projects. Prof. Dr. Iryna Sekret is a member of the organising committees for a number of international conferences, a member of the reviewing and editorial boards of international academic journals. With more than ten years of experience in e-learning, she has been conducting research in MOOCs for different purposes, ICT in education and, namely, in training teachers and translators, participating in a number of the international projects on Online Pedagogy and Teaching English. Her research and educational interests are in FLT methodology, educational and organisational psychology, e-learning.

Michael Hallissy is a researcher and policy consultant in the field of digital education. A former primary teacher who has worked in the field for over 30 years, he has a strong interest in how digital technology can enhance teaching, learning and assessment practices. He works closely with the Department of Education and the European Commission on a range of digital education policy issues, while also engaging in research around the impact of digital technologies in schools and other settings. He is particularly interested in the potential of blended and online learning in education and how emerging technologies can positively impact education for all.

Tomayess is interested in establishing teaching methods to enhance the students’ learning experiences and resolve problems that they face. Tomayess published her work in several peer-reviewed journals, books, and book chapters, and participated in local and global conferences. Tomayess is a section editor for society and politics at Heliyon Elsevier Limited. Tomayess supervised PhD, Master of Phil, and Master Dissertations and received Curtin Guild Awards for her teaching and supervision. Tomayess received the overall Student Guild Outstanding Achievement in Teaching Excellence 2017 Award university-wide. Tomayess received the 2021 Green Gown Awards Australasia: Next Generation Learning and Skills, Highly Commended, for the Green Information Technology and Sustainability unit. She is an active researcher and educator, focussing on the issues of English language teaching, ICT in education, distance learning and teaching. She has a profound experience of academic writing and editing. Prof. Dr. Istifci is a member of the international conference organising committees and editorial boards of academic journals. Her research interests include emerging technologies and their application in education, social media in education, communicative strategies in English as a foreign language.

She has several publications to her credit and continue to work with renowned academics to pursue her research interests, which are currently directed towards the Semantic Web, Web 3.0 E-learning and E-learning sustainability. She has several years of experience, as an Academic, educator and Business Systems administrator, within Australia and abroad.

With over 20 years of teaching experience at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, Sarita holds a PhD in IT Governance and Green IT from Curtin University (Australia), a Masters in Computer Science from Imperial College (UK), and a BEng in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Mauritius. Alongside her leadership responsibilities, teaching and PhD supervision roles, her research interests include IT Governance, Green IT, Graduate Work-Readiness and, more recently, Predictive Analytics and AI in Education.

Those projects involve academic research, software development and industrial implementation.

In this domain, she is working to explore the role of cutting-edge technologies such as generative AI and large language models to support teaching and learning. Umera also conducts research in sustainable computing, green IT and human computer interaction; currently she is leading 2 funded research projects in this domain.
